The Watergate Street Gallery on Watergate Street in Chester have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by travel and restaurant website company, TripAdvisor.
The Certificate of Excellence honours hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service across the world. This designation is presented to approximately 10% of total businesses on TripAdvisor that have consistently achieved great reviews over the past year. There is no application process for the Certificate of Excellence, and the achievement is earned over time.
Alex Sharp, Owner of The Watergate Street Gallery, said: “The Award came completely out of the blue but was a very welcome surprise! It’s great to know that our customers really value the personal service we provide.”
Reviews on The Watergate Street Gallery’s TripAdvisor page highlighted that staff in the Gallery were ‘very knowledgeable and unfailingly welcoming’ and another customer commented that her artwork ‘always arrived when stated and been packed exceptionally well’.
The gallery reviews have been built up over a number of years and is currently listed in the top 20 things to do in Chester on TripAdvisor. It was also voted ‘Best Independent Retailer’ in the 2018 CH1ChesterBID Customer Service Awards.
