The small steps that will help you live a greener life on Earth Day and every day

We all want to do our bit for the environment, whether that’s recycling and reducing waste, avoiding plastic or even litter picking. Because we know that every small step we take to live a greener life will help make the world a better place to live in.

This Friday, April 22, is Earth Day, an annual event that focuses on areas that include climate change, plastic pollution, conservation and the environment.

While Earth Day tackles global issues, there’s plenty you can do where you are to help the environment and be more eco-friendly. Take a look at just a few of the items we found in Chester city centre that will help you live a more eco-friendly life while giving you a great product to boot.

Alongside second-hand clothes – which are great if you’re planning on swapping fast fashion for sustainable clothing – charity shops also sell new stuff. This recycled, foldable backpack is made from plastic bottles. It’s from the Eco Chic label and as well as being super  practical it looks super cool.
