Annual Rowing Regatta on River Dee

Saturday 8th June (9am-6pm)

Established in 1733 Chester Regatta is the oldest rowing regatta in the world (predating Henley Regatta and the Oxford / Cambridge Boat Races).

Attracting crews from across the country, racing 750m downstream from the Red House to just past Sandy Lane Park.

Free to spectators, great viewing from the Meadows or Sandy Lane.

Food and drink on sale all day.
A super family event spectating and supporting what’s certain to be an exciting racing day for all. Please come and cheer on these super rowers.

Organised by Chester’s 6 Rowing Clubs.
