On Tuesday 5th March, people across the nation will be greasing their frying pans, mixing their batter and flipping their way to the perfect pancake!

INGREDIENTS: 

For the batter: 100 g organic flour, 2 eggs, 300 ml semi-skimmed milk,  1 tea spoon oil. Toppings: Cheddar cheese, Wiltshire ham.

METHOD:

  1. Mix all ingredients for the batter in a bowl.
  2. Oil the pan and ladle some batter into it, tilting the pan to move the mixture around for a thin and even layer
  3. Flipping pancakes: Hold the pan’s handle, ease a fish slice under the pancake, then quickly lift and flip it over
  4. Spread your ingredients on the crepe: first the grated cheddar and add some pieces of ham on the crepe
  5. Fold the crepe in 2 and leave it for 15 seconds
  6. Enjoy!
