Watergate Street Gallery

Watergate Street Gallery features an excellent collection of contemporary art pieces along with your favourite Chester spots reimagined. They also host numerous events, from Painting classes, Meet the Artists, and Demonstrations.

Alison Bradley Gallery

Previously focusing on the landscapes of the British Countryside, Alison Bradley opened a location in Chester and began creating elegant depictions of our walled city. Take home a larger piece, or a smaller print to remember your visit.

Whitewall Galleries

There really is something for everyone in Whitewall Galleries. Not only is it a gorgeous space to visit, but they also host everyone from LS Lowry, to regional artist Kerry Darlington.

Castle Fine Art

Soon to be expanding their gallery space, Castle Fine Art feature an eclectic mix of original and limited edition art. They also house pieces from big names, like Billy Connolly and Ronnie Wood.

Julie Colclough Gallery

Internationally renowned artist Julie Colclough opened up her gallery space in 2019. From book cover illustrations to life drawing, Julie also captures the scenes of our city, bringing them to life in paint. You can often find Julie behind her drawing board in the gallery space!

Situated up on Northgate St right by the City Walls, Chester Art Centre not only hosts Exhibitions from local artists, but you can also get your art supplies here. A great place to engage with the local arts community.
