SHRUB, a new Eatery and Cocktail Bar is opening soon on the Corner of Eastgate and Northgate Rows.
The new venture is the brainchild of Calum Adams who was involved with plant-based eatery Hypha in Chester. Calum stated:
“So we (myself, Sammy Sale and Natasha Dignam) hope to be open in early April. A sense of ‘modern cafe culture’ is what we are trying to create. Whether it be 11am or 11pm you can sit with a good book, your laptop or friends, enjoying great beer, cocktails or coffee whilst tucking into a bite to eat. Downstairs is the perfect spot to grab lunch and then as the day progresses we become a great spot for early evening drinks. Upstairs, our restaurant will serve from 11am ‘till late with a mix of plant based nibbles great for sharing and an eclectic mix of mains. Our row seating overlooking the city centre will be the place to watch the world go by with a coffee or cocktail paired with one of our specialty vegan donuts. All entirely plant based with no preach – a focus on quality produce and consciously sourced ingredients.”
