The Chester Grosvenor to host Wine Maker’s Dinner

Cheshire’s foremost hotel, the 5* Chester Grosvenor, will be hosting a ‘Wine Maker’s Dinner’ on Tuesday 18th September from 6pm in association with independent Australian wine producers, Lethbridge Wines.

The dinner will take place in The Cellar by Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, renowned for holding a Michelin star since 1990, and will be hosted by winemaker and owner of Lethbridge Wines, Ray Nadeson.  The dining experience will begin with canapés and aperitifs in the elegant Arkle Bar and Lounge, followed by a gourmet five course Tasting Menu, prepared by Simon Radley and his award-winning kitchen brigade. An accompanying wine flight will complement each course perfectly, with wines selected specially by the hotel’s expert Sommelier. The evening will conclude with coffee and petits fours.

Founded in 2003 in the Geelong region of Australia by Ray and his friend Maree Collis, Lethbridge Wines specialise in producing natural, savoury wines that focus on balance and texture. With backgrounds in Chemistry and Medicine respectively, this has shaped the pair’s wine making philosophy and scientific approach to the vineyards and growing conditions.

General Manager of The Chester Grosvenor, Richard Grove, comments: “We’re delighted to welcome Ray Nadeson to our Wine Maker’s Dinner for an evening of exceptional food and specially selected wines, informed by his comprehensive and scientific approach to winemaking. We look forward to welcoming guests for what is sure to be a special evening,”

The Wine Maker’s Dinner will take place on Tuesday 18th September, 6pm-9pm. Tickets are £125 per person with a 50% deposit required at the time of booking. To book, visit: https://www.chestergrosvenor.com/contact-us.
