Today, Monday 28 January 2019, marks 100 days to go until the start of another racing season at Chester Racecourse. The 2019 opening spectacular; the Boodles May Festival, runs Wednesday 8 – Friday 10 May and promises a combination of competitive handicaps, top-class Group races and a fantastic atmosphere over three days.
To celebrate the start of our countdown to the Boodles May Festival, we are giving away 100 pairs of tickets to the opening day, City Day, on Wednesday 8 May. City Day is a day built around celebrating the history of racing at Chester and our unique position with the city. After a breath-taking traditional curtain raiser of the Lily Agnes Stakes, the Cheshire Oaks and Chester Vase will promise contenders the best turf conditions and viewers the opportunity to witness some serious Derby and Oaks contenders as they take to the Roodee.
To enter this fantastic competition and be part of Chester’s on-going story, all you need to do is watch our competition video on chester-races.com and answer the following question by selecting one of the multiple-choice answers available.
