Join the Lord Mayor of Chester to celebrate the King and Queen Consort’s coronation on Sunday 7 May 2023 from 13.15 – 14.45 for his concert of local performers, choirs and children.

It will take place at Chester Town Hall square to allow local residents and visitors to come together and celebrate this historic event.

The Lord Mayor will open the concert and welcome everyone and the afternoon will continue with performances from A Handbag Of Harmonies; University Of Chester Choir; Dee Sign Choir; Chester Male Voice Choir; Overleigh St Mary’s School; Proud Marys; Rock Choir; Amasing And FINALE  – All Choirs Join In Lambeth Walk And National Anthem.

Members of the public are invited to come and enjoy all of the concert or just drop by and watch some of it. Roads around the Town Hall will be closed to the public and the Parklet Will provide some seating for people to use.
