Hot on the heels of the launch of their new menu, Artezzan Restaurant and Bar have been shortlisted for Best Newcomer at the 2023 Catey Awards. The hospitality industry equivalent to The Oscars, the prestigious awards ceremony, which is now in its 40th year, recognizes excellence in the hospitality industry across the UK.
Artezzan opened their doors less than two years ago on Chester’s Pepper Street in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite its short time in operation, the restaurant has already made a name for itself, thanks to its innovative menu, stylish décor, and excellent service. Their new spring/summer menu, which features standout dishes like baked lobster and truffled ribeye steak, has already received huge praise, being the restaurant’s most successful launch to date.

The Catey Awards are widely regarded as the UK hospitality industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony, and winning a Catey is seen as a significant achievement within the sector. Previous winners include some of the UK’s best-known restaurants, hotels, and chefs.
The winners of the 2023 Catey Awards will be announced on July 4th at a ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
