Partly Chester recently opened as an independent art and craft shop. Nestled in St Werburgh Street it is delighted to announce a special private viewing of its Upstairs Gallery on June 1st. The reception is between 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm followed by an opportunity to experience the captivating works of six extraordinary local artists and meet with them, in person.
Situated over two floors, Partly Chester is a haven for handmade craftsmanship and artistic excellence. The ground floor showcases a diverse range of art forms, including mesmerising glasswork, metal creations, ceramics, porcelain pieces, sculptures, and exquisite jewellery. Ascending to the upper floor, visitors are welcomed into a captivating art gallery space that promises to inspire and delight.
During this exclusive private viewing event, Partly Chester will present a remarkable collection of 40 paintings by the talented local artists. Each artist brings their own distinct style and artistic expression to the exhibition, resulting in a rich tapestry of artistic diversity. Jack Few captivates with abstract impressionism, while Hazel Thomson presents expansive and breath-taking landscape paintings. Liz Hodgkinson showcases abstract landscapes, Amy Coney expresses figurative art and murals, Carl Gibson creates modern resin art, and Gill Stokes impresses with her distinctive impressionistic style.
