Chef Harry Guy to offer sneak peek of what’s to come at December tasting menu event
Roux scholarship award-winning Chef Harry Guy, who is set to open the doors to his much-anticipated Chester restaurant, X by Harry Guy, in late 2023, has announced the release of the next tasting event at PARADE, Chester Racecourse, on Friday 2nd December.
Harry has worked in some of the most celebrated kitchens in the world from L’Enclume, Roganic, Aulis, and Gordon Ramsay’s Savoy Grill, to name a few.
After a hugely successful pop-up event earlier this year, Harry is set to return toChester Racecourse in December for a unique, tasting menu event at PARADE, the racecourse’s one-of-a-kind trackside venue.
The evening is set to be a magical fine dining experience, offering food lovers an indulgent tasting menu, perfect for a festive gathering yet a far cry from a traditional Christmas menu. Guests will be the first to sample Harry’s enticing six-course menu, which has been carefully curated using the finest local and seasonal ingredients from the Northwest and beyond to create a menu that sets itself apart from the norm. The six-course dinner includes dishes such as: Jerusalem Artichoke with Goats Cheese, Winter Truffle Mackerel, Oyster and Radish, Monkfish with Kohlrabi, Salt Aged Duck with Ragout and Caramelised Bread Pudding with Quince.

The final pop-up event will take place on 2nd December 2022 at 6:30pm. Tickets are available from £195pp which includes a unique six-course tasting menu and snacks, complete with champagne on arrival. For £250pp, guests can also enjoy an exceptionally paired drinks flight.
